Screen wiper

The Screen wiper is a tool created to generate procedural screen wipes for games and video using presets, user entered code, randomly generated code, noise offsets and a small amount of work. The transitions are predominantly black and white, allowing them to be used as effective alpha masks for images. The program has a reasonable amount of documentation that can be accessed through the main menu.

The bottom left panel allows the entry of predefined keywords and values that it compiles into two IDs that are fed into shaders for visualisation. This system allows for instant feedback on procedural transitions through a preview that shows the gradient and the gradient with a changeable cut-off value applied. The keywords can opperate on values such as the UV (allowing users to create non-linear transitions), the tiles UV and the absolute value of the tile UV. (AND MORE!)

The use of IDs to represent instructions allows easy randomisation of instructions to occur which can be generated through the "Random" button. This creates a system where you can find pleasing and interesting transitions with little work, and the generated IDs are displayed as code in a panel, allowing for copying and easy editing. These IDs can be saved for later and re-entered at any point using the "CompileFromID" button (make sure to record the ID and Value ID) . (All of the transitions being displayed as gifs on this page were created with the random function, possibly with some added noise offset!)

All transitions between scenes in this program were created and exported using the program.

It is also quite inefficient, I might update it to compile shader-code procedurally instead of my current method of rendering.
